Shamefully I admit that it has been an entire week since my last post! I cannot believe how fast time passes by. It's almost like standing at the window and watching cars speed by while I am staying still, never moving from my place.
Church went really well. I was a little late, though, because it took much longer than the ladies thought; it was an hour and twenty minute bus ride total! After the English service (of which I missed about half) we ate at the church and then I went to the Korean student service, which was also good. I stopped at a supermarket on my way home and found some nice things to eat which include cereal and bread!
Monday was fairly quiet. Had a lot of school to do, which seems to be the trend nowadays. Tuesday we went out to eat with the group of students who go to the first church I went to, along with their youth minister.
Wednesday was also entirely filled with school, as was Thursday, except I went to Hayung (small shopping area between the university and Daegu), had coffee while I studied and then, of course, I had to do a little shopping ;-) I ended my day with a stop a Lotteria, the Korean version (I must say it is much better) of McDonalds.
Yesterday the university shuttled all of the new students (two buses full!) to the immigration office. We are all required to get a foreign citizen card.
We had to wait for almost two hours for everyone to get finished, even though all they had to do was scan our hands and both thumbs. After we got back the three Kazakhs and I went to the cafe. I found these, which look like pirogi, but it wasn't meat or potatoes that were in them. Leave your guess in the comments, and I'll tell you in the next post what they really are (this excludes my mother, whom I have already told!).
Today was a lazy day. I slept almost until two. Man was that nice! I got around and went downtown where I did some more shopping and went to KFC. Yummy! On my way back toward the end of the line the metro was completely deserted.
It remains to be seen what will be done tomorrow. Most likely more school and more sleep--both of which things I need to get caught up on!
Talk to you all soon. Enjoy your Saturday!

| Our entire group. Yes, we pretty much sat on the floor. |
| Our food, which was really yum but even more spicy, ouch! |
